Osteoporosis Program

Get Back to What You LoveAccording to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, "osteoporosis is a major public health threat for an estimated 44 million Americans, or 55 percent of the people 50 years of age and older." The thinning of bones and loss of bone density can lead to an increased vulnerability to fractures.

Our osteoporosis program is designed to slow down or stop bone loss through bone strengthening exercises, balance training, core strengthening, and spinal decompression exercises. In addition, you’ll learn what you can do to reduce your risk of injury through home safety, nutrition, and improved postural positioning.

KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine.
